Care for your eyes. And your neighborhood, too.
Settling into a new neighborhood often includes finding new healthcare providers. If you ask your Reunion neighbors whom they recommend for eye care, chances are they’ll suggest North Range Eye Care. This practice, located just a few minutes away on 104th Ave., tends to the needs of many Reunion residents. And for several years, they’ve sponsored Reunion’s annual Kite & Flight Festival. See photos here.
Why this close connection to Reunion? Owners Dr. David Hite and Rachel Hite, who also serves as the office manager, are Reunion residents themselves, along with their young son Dawson.
“We knew from the first time we came to visit family here that we loved it,” says Rachel. “As a young family ourselves, we relate to our patients on many levels.” In 2013, the Hites moved to Reunion from Memphis, where Rachel received her degree in microbiology and David graduated summa cum laude from the Southern College of Optometry. Last year, he won a Practice of Excellence Award from the school for graduates who have established outstanding practices.
North Range’s team of eye doctors and eye care staff handle everything from adult and children’s eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses to eye emergencies, treatment of eye diseases, and co-management of eye surgery such as LASIK. They also use the most up-to-date technology to ensure the best eye care possible.
North Range offers a large selection of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and designer frames and sunglasses, including the latest from European and American designers. Sports and specialty eyewear fitting is also available for everyone from hunters to tennis players. Dr. Hite can also address problems that come with extended computer screen time, a common concern these days.
“Our highest priority is giving our patients the best possible experience and treating them as if they’re family,” says Rachel. And you’ll definitely find a family vibe at the annual Kite & Flight event, where North Range is a Gold Sponsor each year. Kite & Flight is a day each fall when residents can fly their own kites at the park or just watch amazing professionals at work. The event offers music, food, jump castles, and train rides. “We love the community we practice in,” says Rachel. “And supporting that community through community events is very important to us.” For more information about North Range Eye Care, visit their website or contact Rachel directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
