Just Another Fabulous Weekend at Reunion
Some folks have to wait for July 4th to celebrate the 4th of July. But not if you live at Reunion™. Each year, the community doubles the fun with Red, White & Bluefest, a day full of old-fashioned, outdoor fun that precedes Independence Day (which leaves you free to go out of town or hit the city’s grand fireworks displays on the 4th).
On June 25, this year’s event kicked off with yoga in the park led by Breath of Life Yoga, a local business owned by a Reunion resident. Next came bike decorating and a parade, music, food trucks, entertainment, and kid-friendly fun like giant hamster balls and Jenga, roving magicians, and caricature artists.
Reunion is a highly interactive community anchored by an award-winning rec center and a robust HOA. While some special events are exclusively for residents, others are open to the community at large. In fact, the Red, White & Bluefest provided non-residents with an opportunity to get to know the community and tour model homes. This article in the Denver Post even extended the invitation. Turnout was excellent. In a market where 102,000 people moved to metro Denver last year, average home prices keep skyrocketing. But with new homes starting in the upper $200s, Reunion is the exception to the norm. In fact, the community was recently mentioned in this story on 9News.com for its affordability.
In case you weren’t at this year’s Red, White & Bluefest, we’ve included photos below. But it’s never too late to check out Reunion’s model homes. Maybe next year you’ll be a new resident hanging out with your neighbors at this event and many other Reunion activities.
