You won’t have time for the summertime blues.
As you know, summertime is one of Colorado’s best secrets. And June is the month all of your favorite summer activities kick off. From gardening to festivals to road trips in the mountains, the warm days and longer hours of sunshine give you more freedom to enjoy what’s so amazing about our state.
And as a Reunion resident, you’re centrally located to enjoy all kinds of activities around the Denver metro area and the foothills to the west. Here’s a list of suggestions to get you out and about this month:
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Monday, May 28, 10am, Veteran’s Memorial Park
Watch military units, bands, floats, and antique car clubs turn out and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Admission is free and the parade will last about two hours, rain or shine. Learn more.
PEOPLE’S FAIR ART & MUSIC FESTIVAL
Friday-Sunday, June 1-3, Civic Center Park

DENVER SUMMER WHISKEY FESTIVAL
Saturday, June 23, 4pm, Lodo’s Bar & Grill
Enjoy an intimate setting with whiskey reps showcasing a few of their favorite brands. You’ll be surrounded by a mostly young professional 25-35 age crowd, but all ages above 21 are welcome! The County Line Station Stop on the E Line will have a complimentary shuttle to the event. Get tickets.
FIRST FRIDAY ART WALKS

Here’s your chance to explore Denver’s most unique neighborhoods. Find the pulse of the city’s vibrant creative community year-round on the first Friday of each month in the Mile High’s seven art districts. Galleries, studios, and cultural attractions stay open late for a mind-expanding night of art, food, drink, and fun.
REUNION MOVIE NIGHT – E.T.
Friday, June 8, 6 pm, Reunion Park
Join your friends and neighbors for the classic movie “E.T.” at Reunion Park. The night will kick off with food trucks, music, and fun for the whole family! This free event is provided by our friends at Landing Place Church and the Reunion Metro District.
