High-Five an Awesome Woman this Month

Is it March already? As a Coloradan, you probably think of March as the month where you only ski on weekdays because of the spring break crowds. If you’re a basketball fan, you’re probably getting your March Madness bracket ready. But March is also Women’s History Month. We highly recommend taking a day to visit the Colorado Women’s History Center at the Byers-Evans House Museum. There, you’ll learn about the historical accomplishments of several badass Rocky Mountain women.

It helps to leave the house every now and then if you’re looking to make a little history of your own, so we’ve compiled a few fun and educational events to hit around town this month. Between adventures, don’t forget to stop into the Reunion Coffee House every now and then and say hello to your neighbors. You never know, they may be in the middle of making some pretty cool history themselves!
