The King Soopers Marketplace at 104th and Chambers celebrates one of Colorado’s largest grocery stores nested next to a drive-thru pharmacy, jewelry store, home décor, among a few more interesting surprises.
Reunion Village Retail Center hosts an intriguing mix of retailers: Wells Fargo Bank, Starbucks, Sonic, Del Taco, Conoco, Supercuts, Reunion Wine and Spirits, a series of medical and dental offices and restaurants as well as the South Adams County Fire Department station.
Back Nine, Southlawn, The Gallery, or Parkside are all part of Reunion.
It’s actually a recreation center with a large pool. Reunion residents receive memberships for their entire households with a mandatory fee of $32/month ($96/quarter). Non-Reunion residents are not eligible for membership, but may use the recreation center and/or pool daily for $20/day per person. The Homeowners Association is responsible for enforcing the architectural covenants of the community. This fee of $109.50/quarter covers everyone in the household to use the recreation center and pool. There’s also a Homeowners sub-association for Parkside at Reunion which pays for water, snow removal, trash pick-up, exterior maintenance, and structure insurance at a fee of $197/month. Property tax currently stands at 1.5% of the sales price of the home you purchase.

A: Southlawn Park is owned and maintained by Reunion Metropolitan District. The Lawn Amphitheater and Pavilion were designed in a manner that would allow future construction of an outdoor pool, pool house and, limited parking. The Southlawn Park and Reunion Park, recreation center and pool complex were conceived to serve the entire Reunion Community when completed. We’re pleased to announce plans to move forward with pool construction in 2019.
At this time, Reunion Metro District serves approximately 1,600 completed residences in the community, while Reunion is planned to include over 10,000 residences when complete. Currently the Metro District owns and maintains over 140 acres of parks, landscaping, and trails, including the 52-acre Reunion Park, and Reunion Recreation Center and Pool complex and the five acre Southlawn Park. As more homes are completed and adequate tax revenues are generated, the Reunion Metropolitan District will evaluate the recreational needs of the community and consider expanding recreational facilities and adding added park lands. The Metro District intends to solicit resident input before any additional amenities are constructed and will need to balance the capital costs of such projects together with the annual operating and maintenance costs of any proposed facility with the District’s tax and recreational fee revenues.
As Commerce City residents, Reunion families also have access to all the Park and Recreational facilities and programs of the City of Commerce City and can use the Indoor Pool and water features and all the other amenities at the Commerce City Recreation Center. A 65-acre city park is proposed for just west of the Southlawn neighborhood, and soft surface trails are in the Second Creek Open Space corridor which begins just west of Landmark Drive near Southlawn Parkway and follows Second Creek to the north underneath 104th Avenue to Chambers Road.
Serviced by the Brighton 27J School District, grade school children may attend Reunion Elementary, Turnberry Elementary or Second Creek Elementary pending on which neighborhood they live in. Stuart Middle School and Prairie View High School serve Reunion as well. As an alternative, the no-cost public charter school of Landmark Academy at Reunion currently serves grades K-8 (visit www.nhaschools.com/schools/landmark.)
