Inspiring Ideas for a Spring Soiree
Posted on 07 Mar 2019
Are you ready to be done with winter? Luckily, spring is just around the corner and with it comes warmer temperatures and an uncontrollable desire to be outside as much as possible. One way to take advantage of the brighter days and flourishing nature is to throw a spring party! Your friends at Reunion have found a few really cool ideas to make your party the ultimate springtime celebration.
Winged Lanterns
Let a flock of colorful paper butterflies loose! Whether or not your party is indoors, these lovely handmade lanterns will brighten up any gathering with their whimsical spirit. You can even make extra butterflies for adorning the straws in your beverages
Flower Cupcakes
Do you love to bake? Then this is the ideal project for you. With the right piping tip, you can turn the tops of your cupcakes into bright and cheery blooms like cherry blossoms, peonies, dahlias, and more. Group them all together on top of a green tablecloth and watch as guests clamor to take pictures of your masterpieces!
Radicchio with Spring Peas
Want to serve up a dish that is light in calories but rich in flavor? Try combining freshly shucked sweet spring peas with shreds of bitter radicchio for a lovely seasonal salad. This melding of flavors and colors creates a pleasant contrast for the plate *and* the palate.
Tropical Print Photo Booth
Just because we live in in dry, mountainous Colorado doesn’t mean we don’t also love the luscious tropics! Tropical prints always make for festive party décor, and having a photo booth with palm leaves, flamingos, and flowers as a backdrop will leave you with colorful photos and memories for a lifetime. Throw in coconut bras, hula skirts, sunglasses, and Hawaiian shirts for good measure!
Gold Rush Game
Will kids attend your party? One way to keep them entertained is to create a fun “Gold Rush” game! Spray palm-sized rocks with gold paint and hide them around the house or yard. Whoever finds the most gold is the best Lil Prospector! Another plus: Everyone gets to take home a “gold” party favor.
Are you in the mood for a spring party now? Maybe you’ll have a few party supplies left over from a fun St. Patrick’s Day celebration you can recycle.
