Community events, pool days, and other favorites are back! Join Reunion and revel in the new season by getting out of the house and being active. Here’s a rundown of ways to stay busy and have fun in the Reunion community in the warm months to come.
Rec Center Activities
The Reunion Rec Center has a full schedule of exercise classes and events lined up for the season. Trying to add more tranquility to your daily life? Sign up for Sunset Yoga, where you can join your neighbors and tune in to your mind and body while basking in the fading Colorado light. These calming sessions are the perfect way to end a summer day! Likewise, the return of Hot Dog Days of Summer on June 9th means you have another way to mingle — these family-friendly gatherings invite you to get to know your community neighbors while enjoying some classic summer eats.
We couldn’t be more excited to finally announce that the pools are open! In addition to the familiar favorite pool attached to the Rec Center, Reunion now also has the hotly-anticipated Southlawn Pool. In the morning, head over for a refreshing workout in one of the two lap lanes — or stop by during the heat of the afternoon to catch rays or set up on a lounger under the cooling shade of an umbrella. Thinking about taking an evening dip? The patio area (with a fire pit!) provides a pleasant space to indulge in a picnic dinner alongside your neighbors while enjoying your lovely Colorado surroundings.
Covering more than 150 acres throughout the community, Reunion parks will be some of your favorite areas to roam close to home. Many of the neighborhood parks include “tot lots” and some even feature full playgrounds. Bring your kids and they’re sure to burn off their excess energy before you return home to the peace and comfort of a quiet house. Along with your regular park visits, mark your calendar for the return of the Red, White and Bluefest that will be held in Reunion Park on June 26. Come together with friends and family for fireworks and an early Fourth of July celebration!
The Reunion community offers many ways for residents to experience the summer season. Whether you just want to spend time outside with family or connect more with the community, Reunion has the variety of options you want. What will you do first?
